UND Campus Connection
UND wanted students to use its new Campus Connection portal that allows students to access all their school information online.
Deliverables
Designed email that included an offer to win one of ten iPods to be given away for signing up on Campus Connection. The email contained a link directly to the Campus Connection homepage.
Industry wide, average email click-through rates (CTRs) are continuing to decline. Most range from less than 1% for poorly executed campaigns mailed to rented lists, to more than 20% for heavily incented offers sent to house lists of online retailers.
This campaign falls somewhere in the middle. The list was highly targeted to current UND students with 1 in 1360 winning an iPod.
