by

Revealing too much information online? Cut back on the Blog Streaking.

Enjoy reviewing the online photos of others? You’re a Photolurker.

Chained to your BlackBerry? You may have the Crackberry curse.

Do you have an unhealthy online obsession with REO Speedwagon power ballads? Confront your Cheesepodding tendencies.

These and other Internet addictions are identified in a story in the New Scientist. “The web in particular has opened up a host of opportunities for overindulgence,” writes Richard Fisher. The collaborative and addictive nature of sites like Wikipedia, Flickr and YouTube has created habits that range from strange curiosities to serious obsessions.

The online version of the story has first-person confessions from a Wikipediholic, MySpacer, Cheesepodder and Google-stalker. Or check out the terms and definitions here.
