OriginalSignal Aggregates Web 2.0
byDo you ever get that nagging feeling you haven’t been keeping up on the latest Web 2.0 buzz? You know how you sometimes find yourself sitting there, watching Project Runway on your Tivo, and you realize it’s been over an hour since you read about yet another new social networking, google maps mashup that has just launched a private beta and has an unsure business model. Believe me, it happens and until today, you likely had to keep your RSS reader stacked with feeds from sites like TechCruch, Read/Write Web, eHub (a favorite of mine) and Solutions Watch if you hoped to keep up with everything 2.0. But no longer, OriginalSignal aggregates fifteen of the most popular Web 2.0 sites on a simple and beautiful one page site.
The only bad thing I can say about OriginalSignal is the lack of Postbubble being included. Maybe they picked fifteen sites because it makes a pretty 3x5 grid and didn’t want one site dangling by its lonesome on the bottom. Postbubble is probably one of my favorite 2.0 trackers because of the writing style and the way they ‘sink’ or ‘float’ a site, depending on what sort of future they think the site has. The fact that the site also sports a nice huge footer doesn’t hurt either, I just love big footers.
If you like to read the latest and greatest news in the Web 2.0 world and don’t like subscribing to RSS feeds, OriginalSignal is most likely the site for you.
