Wyoming Horse and Rider Prevails

Wyoming’s effort to preserve its trademarked horse and rider logo has paid off. The school board in Breckenridge, Minnesota, voted last week to discontinue using the horse-and-rider logo that closely resembles the Cowboy state’s identity.

The school’s bleak financial picture was a significant factor, as the board trimmed $320,000 from its budget at the same meeting. An interview with Breckenridge’s superintendent is here.
