Yahoo! Buys del.icio.us

It looks like del.icio.us will be a part of the Yahoo! Search Team, which makes sense as del.icio.us is now one of the first places I’ll go when I want to search for something. Combine the community of active taggers at del.icio.us with whatever Yahoo! has under it’s search hood and I bet we’ll see a pretty good improvement in search results.

So does anybody think that tagging isn’t going to be a big part of the next phase of evolution on the Web?
